Deputies search for burglary suspect in southeast Montgomery County | – Clarksville Now

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office were conducting a manhunt Sunday afternoon near the Cheatham County line.

At about 1 p.m., the search for a wanted man was ongoing in the 1500 block Oak Plains Road. The subject is a white man in his mid-30s who was last seen wearing a purple shirt, blue jean shorts, gray shoes and a black hat.

MCSO Lt. Mark Wojnarek told Clarksville Now the man was seen taking car parts out of a resident’s detached car garage and fled when confronted.

There has been a string of recent burglaries in the area, he said.

A perimeter was set up and residents are warned to call 911 if they spot the man.

“Please secure your residences as we work to resolve this incident,” Wojnarek said.
