Man walking home from grocery store hit and killed in a hit-and-run crash – KSHB
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A hit-and-run driver struck and killed a 60-year-old man carrying groceries to his apartment Wednesday night.
Police said the man, whose name has not been released, got off a bus about 6:30 p.m. in the 10500 block of East 42nd Street.
He was crossing a street to get to his apartment building when he was hit by the car, police said.
A caller told police there was a body in the street.
Officers arrived and found the victim.
Police said car parts left at the crash scene came from a 2007-2012 Nissan Sentra.
